Already held: This month’s Ikebana class “The fifth paramita is called Concentration” will be held on May 17th, in-person only
The fifth paramita is called Concentration. It relates to contemplation, one-pointed meditation, and focus.
When we face flowers, we are free from any concerns and gain a clear perception of reality. In Buddhism, the first goal of practice is to achieve a clear mind that is free from the chattering self. Through meditation, no discrimination, and working towards the selfless mind, ikebana helps us develop our best character.
