Mindfulness through Copying Sutras and Coloring the Buddha’s Image – Aug. 2 – IBC Bon Gathering 2026
International Buddhist Congregation (IBC) of Rissho Kosei-kai is holding “the IBC Bon Gathering” for English speaking foreign members and friends.
Please join this Gathering to experience copying sutras and coloring the Buddha’s image and transfer the merits to ancestors and friends.

1) Date and Time: Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, from 1pm to 3pm (followed by Social time/Refreshments)

- Copying sutras and coloring the Buddha’s image
- Sutra Recitation (English)
- Social Time (Refreshments)
4)What to bring: We will prepare brush pens, coloring pencils, and a copy for sutra recitation. Otasuki, or sashi, is not required.
5)Attire: Casual clothing is fine.
